The PNP Educational Trust, established 30 years ago in 1987, was conceived with a mission to deliver top-quality education to students from diverse backgrounds within the community. As part of this vision, a Senior Secondary School was established under its auspices, quickly garnering acclaim for its innovative educational methodologies.
With Coimbatore rapidly evolving into a cosmopolitan hub and a melting pot of cultures, the trust recognizes the pressing need to establish a school aligned with the standards set by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). This new educational institution aims not only to provide students with a nationally recognized academic framework but also to equip them with the necessary tools and resources to gain admission to esteemed colleges and universities across the country.
In essence, the trust envisions this new school as a gateway to a world-class educational experience, empowering students to excel academically and prepare them for future success in premier educational institutions nationwide.

Founder's Message
Established over thirty years ago, the P.N. Palaniswamy Educational Trust was created with a clear objective: to deliver high-quality education to students from diverse backgrounds. The inception of the National Model Group of Schools represented a significant milestone in fulfilling this mission.
In 1987, Dr. P.N. Palaniswamy laid the groundwork for the National Model Matriculation School, starting with just two students and a small staff. Through his unwavering dedication, the school experienced remarkable growth, becoming a beacon of educational innovation in Coimbatore.
Dr. Palaniswamy's vision for holistic education set the school apart. By integrating martial arts, yoga, music, and dance into the curriculum, he created an environment where students could excel academically and personally.
In 2006, recognizing the importance of a national curriculum, Dr. Palaniswamy introduced the CBSE curriculum and embraced technology to enhance learning.
Despite his passing in 2012, Dr. Palaniswamy's legacy endures, inspiring the National Model Group of Schools to pursue excellence and student success.
OUR CHAIRMAN
Mr. Mohan is our proud founder who helped in building this group into an ever-lasting team. He was blessed with an impeccable personality and he is a talented dweller. He finished his MBA in 1989 and is pursuing his PhD in Primary Education.
OUR SECTRETARY
Mrs. Uma Chandar embarked on her academic journey, culminating in the attainment of her B.E. degree in 1997. Initially venturing into the realm of software engineering, she eventually found her true calling in the field of education. Driven by a profound passion for teaching, Uma made a significant career shift, recognizing the inherent value of nurturing young minds. Despite the demands of parenthood—being a mother of two by the age of 30—she embraced teaching wholeheartedly, viewing her parental role as a natural extension of the teaching ethos. Drawing inspiration from Claudio Jones’ book, “Parents are Teachers too!”, Uma emphasizes the interconnectedness of parenting and teaching, recognizing the pivotal role parents play in shaping their children’s educational journey.
For over 15 years now, Uma has not only flourished as a dedicated educator but has also become a guiding force for aspiring teachers. She champions a structured and scientific approach to teaching and learning, advocating for a pedagogical shift from teacher-centric to learner-centric methodologies. Uma has meticulously designed a dynamic curriculum that equips learners with the skills and knowledge essential for navigating the complexities of the 21st century. Central to her teaching philosophy is the creation of a vibrant learning environment that celebrates diversity and fosters collaborative engagement.
Uma’s dedication extends beyond the classroom as she and her team continually strive to understand and address the unique needs of each student. She envisions classrooms buzzing with active participation and meaningful dialogue, where students not only absorb knowledge but also actively contribute to their learning journey. Recently, Uma has assumed additional responsibilities as a Manager, further expanding her influence in both academic and administrative spheres. This new role enables her to drive educational innovation while ensuring the smooth functioning of the institution.
Uma’s journey exemplifies the transformative power of education and underscores the profound impact of dedicated educators in shaping future generations. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, Uma continues to inspire and empower both students and fellow educators alike, leaving an indelible mark on the educational landscape.
